An Immigration Tale

in 2017, four immigrant sculptures were made who told their story through their heart. The speaker was mounted in the heart of the sculpture, so in order to hear their stories, the audience had to put their ears close to the heart of the figure. The installation first debuted at Hirshhorn museum, and went onto being on exhibit at Burningman and other exhibitions and events. Several first generation immigrants were interviewed and their stories recorded to be played back at the installation.
